Quilters Select Sample Pack V2

Not sure which Quilters Select batting or stabilizer you need? The Select Sample Pack allows you to see and feel each product before purchasing it. The Select Sample Pack contains 10 samples of batting and stabilizer ranging in size from 8in square to 5-1/5 by 8in. Each sample has a brief description of what it does.

Batting Samples:

Select Perfect Cotton Batting - Made from 100% long staple cotton, with no chemicals or bleaching. Select Perfect Cotton Batting is soft to the touch and includes a light scrim which acts as a stabilizer; preventing stretching and bearding while quilting. Select Perfect Cotton Batting is a low loft batting that has been needle punched to provide support. Low Loft.

Select Soft Blend Batting - Quilt and embellish with no fear of distortion using Select Soft Blend Batting. Made from a blend of polyester and cotton this durable batting provides superior support with its light scrim stabilizer. Select Soft Blend Batting is very soft making it ideal for both hand and machine quilters. Low Loft.

Select Soft Wool - For superior warmth and insulation, use Select Soft Wool Batting. Quilters Select Soft Wool is lightweight, breathable, and has natural moisture-wicking properties that will keep you warm and dry. The soft batting is resistant to bearding and fiber migration, making it last longer. Fall in love with this batting as much as we have and get started sewing today. The Select Soft Wool has a 0-3% shrinkage rate and is low loft.

Stabilizer Samples:

Select Cutaway Stabilizer: Experience stability with this sheer, soft, and no-stretch stabilizer. Quilters Select Cutaway Stabilizer provides a temporary fusible coating that prevents fabrics from stretching or distorting. Use this stabilizer in t-shirt quilts, bias-cut pieces, or simply keep blocks from moving while adding sashing or borders. Cutaway Stabilizer is also ideal for turned-edge applique with sealed edges.

Select TearAaway Stabilizer: Achieve perfect stitches by using the best foundation. Quilters Select TearAway Stabilizer is an ultra-lightweight tear-away stabilizer that has enough body to supports dense satin stitch applique, while also being easily removed from the lightest of stitches. Built-in the Tear Away Stabilizer is a temporary fusible coating that will secure the fibers of your fabric, helping to eliminate pinning or distortion.

To adequately prepare for classes and events, we ask that you please register at least 2 weeks prior to the start date.  Your space in class will not be held withhout payment.  Each class has a minimum, and maximum, number of students and may fill, or be cancelled, prior to your payment.

If a
minimum number of students is not met, you will be notified, and your class fees refunded, at least 1 week prior to the class start date.  If you need to cancel cancel, please call the store at least 1 week prior to class for a full refund. No refunds of class or kit fees will be issued for cancellations under 1 week before the class start date. No shows will forfeit class and kit fees.


Upon registration you will be emailed a list of supplies needed for the class. All supplies should be purchased prior to class. Classes typically do not include time to purchase supplies. Unless otherwise noted, all supplies are available at Sew What! Inc.  Students will receive a 10% discount on all supplies listed.

We are diligent about enforcing copyright laws; if a book, pattern or embroidery design is required for a class, each student must purchase their own copy. There are no exceptions.

Students should bring their sewing machine with all of the appropriate parts (including the instruction manual, foot control and power cord). Students must be familiar with the basic operation (i.e. winding a bobbin and threading the machine) of their machine for creative classes, and the machine must be in good working condition. Alternatively, a student may pre-register to rent a sewing machine (when avail;able) for creative classes at a rental rate of $15 per class session.  Students who experiences great difficulty with their sewing machine during class may need to rent a machine.

Please be considerate of others. Do not bring children to class, wear heavy perfume or use cell phones during class. Please be prepared to start class on time.  Our doors typically open 30 minutes prior to your class start time to allow you to set up your sewing space. Classes begin and end promptly at the scheduled time.
