Christmas Bulbs Applique
Hone your applique skills or develop them for the first time by making one or more of these adorable mini wall hangings. They can be hung on a mini-rack, hung individually, or hung from ribbons vertically to decorate small spaces.
Supplies:
¼ yd light fabric for background (for each hanging)
fabric scraps – 4” square blue or gold (for stripes), or 4” square red or gold for star,
three 8”x13” strips backing fabric,
three 7”x13” thin batting
Fusible web of choice (heat and bond light, appliqué wonder, quilters select),
1” bias tape or fabric scraps to make hanging sleeve
extra needles,
bobbins,
scissors,
seam ripper,
basic sewing supplies,
threads to match the fabric scraps
