From Robin, please complete all prep work prior to class:
Starch and Press all Fabrics (starching discussed during class). I use a 50/50 mix of liquid starch and water in spray bottle. Saturate, let dry, and press with a dry iron.
Cut out all accent, bag, lining and interfacing pieces as indicated on page 26 of the book. (If using kit, the lining fabric is also the accent fabric)
Skip pocket.
From the fat quarters or 1/8yd cuts (braid fabrics) cut 1 strip 1” x wof. Depending on the cuts used you may need additional strips, make sure to bring all extra fabrics to class. We will make the braid angle cuts together in class.
Iron the SF101 (lighter interfacing) to lining rectangles. Iron 1 piece of fusible fleece to outer bag bag piece.
Can’t wait to meet everyone for a fun summer project!
