Easy Does It zippered bag
The Easy Does It bag is a perfect way to learn many of the basic techniques used to make By Annie patterns! The handy zippered bag with attached handles will store and carry all your essentials. The bags also make quick, easy, and useful gifts!
Before class:
- pick up your pattern and purchase supplies
- watch the videos on the ByAnnie.com website. By Annie basics classes (You may have to set up an account and register for the on-line class.)
- Prepare fabric pieces by quilting and cutting to size. (Step I A, B, and C) If you have not completed these steps, you will not finish your bag in class.
Finished size: 6"H x 9"W x 4¼"D

3 fat quarters fabric (one each for main, lining, and handles / binding)

Fusible interfacing - 10"x11"
zipper - 24" or longer, handbag zipper preferred

| Instructor Bio: | Melody was taught to sew when she was 10 by her mother and has been sewing ever since. Her mom also taught her to embroider, including crewel and counted cross-stitch. Melody has tried other needle crafts, including needlepoint, knitting, crocheting, and quilting. Her projects usually start out with "Grandma, can you make...?" Machine embroidery is her current favorite but making bags is catching up fast. |
