We will review care of your new machine, and discuss best practices while sewing. This class is all about getting you familiar with your new tool (because a sewing machine is just a power tool with a needle and thread)! Whether you’re interested in quilting, garment making, or just learning for fun, this class is the perfect starting point for your sewing journey.

Fix It Friday is a free, monthly demonstration designed to help everyday people tackle the most common clothing and household sewing repairs with confidence. Each session focuses on one practical fix, things like hemming, replacing buttons, repairing seams, or simple mending techniques you can use right away at home. This class is perfect for beginners or anyone who wants straightforward solutions without advanced sewing skills. Fix It Friday is a live demonstration, not a hands-on workshop, making it easy to watch, learn, and take notes. Attendance is free, but preregistration is required to reserve your spot.
