THIS IS NOT A CLASS In an attempt to lessen the backlog of services, we are offering a one day "mini" maintenance for basic electronic sewing machines. This is NOT a repair, but basic electronic maintence. Your machine MUST BE STITICHING, although we realize it may not be stitching well. Registration will NOT be available online, as advanced machine service cannot be completed in the allotted time. Please call the store at 302.397.8091 to reserve your spot. When you call, please know your machine's make and model. Please plan to stay while it is worked on; we expect each service to be a maximum of 90 minutes. Please be on time and bring your machine, its power cord and foot control, as well as a bobbin, bobbin case and zig zag foot. In the off chance your machine needs additional service, your prepaid fee will be applied towards a full service and an estimate will be provided. Parts, if needed, will be an additional charge in either case.

This class is designed for young beginners (ages 9-14) who want to explore the exciting world of sewing. This is a lecture demo but you are welcome to bring your own supplies and try it out.

In this class, you’ll learn how to create the appliqué top using machine techniques that are both approachable and versatile. Choose to closely mimic the original cover design or put your own spin on the project by using scraps and playful color combinations, just like Sharon’s sample. The focus of the class will be on layout, appliqué construction, and assembling the wall hanging top. Please note: quilting and binding are not guaranteed to be covered in this lesson.
