Days for Girls increases access to education by shattering stigmas and limitations for women and girls. Together, we're creating a world with dignity, health, and opportunity for all. The blocks created in the Kaleidoscope Quilt will be constructed from a border fabric. The 1st class will concentrate on layering the fabric to cut the block pieces. The goal is to sew together at least 2 blocks. The remaining blocks will be completed at home. The 2nd class will lay out the blocks and then work on attaching the borders with a mitered corner. While the finished quilts will be similar, the blocks will be slightly different depending on where the sections are cut. Once all of the blocks are assembled, the quilt will be framed with more of the border fabric with mitered corners.
